Pictures of the inside of a Harley motor ! Kewl.

The more i see of those motors the more I like them. But I hate the chassis. Could one put a Harley motor into a sprotsbike frame. That would be a really good bike. You never hear of it though.

Yeah that was a nice read, thanks for posting it up.

If i ever have money or time to do a world tour i'd be pretty keen to do one, but why travel when NZ is the best place in the world :D

heres a clue. its a C H O P P E R
ok? not a bmw luxo barge or a harley geezer glide.
choppers dont have shocks. or front fenders. or windshields.
they are choppers. all that shit has been 'chopped' off.

yes, it will be a hard ride.
yes I will learn to curse the bike in 27 languages (I'm at 4 so far, 5 if you count canadian)
yes I will question my sanity (already have, actually)

but, no one else has done it. I want to be the 1st.

now go out in your garage & play with your dampening adjustments, because that last speedbump you hit entering your suburb may have been a LITTLE bit rough.

its been done before a sportster motor will fit inside a featherbed without cutting either

there is a company is austrailia building them and uses the name sporton, easy to find on the web

dresda's website (usually build tritons) have details of a sportster engined bike they built

Oh. yeah. Down there. Sorry, didn't notice him down there, my attention sort of got caught up in things a bit higher up.

He's back home....some people spend megabucks on flash bikes and up to date gear to do this trip.Proof that we don't need that shit.

Most impressive of all - he did RTW with an open face helmet.A lot of people on this site don't think that's possible.

And he always seems to meet nice ladies.
I have been following him since he did the RTW on a Guzzi (on a different froum), then again on an Indian. Now the chopper, what a hard case. We should talk him into a postie bike, he bloody would too.
