All that space to learn in with virtually nothing to hit except the wall and what appeared to be a walking tree.
Obviously the wall didn't see the rider and pulled out in front of him, an all too common accident. If someone had shown him where the brakes were or the rider had been wearing a dayglo vest it may have had a happier ending eh.

Coming from an arab country i can say that he's lucky he never got it out on the road. Drivers r CRAZY there, my cousin got killed on his bike. They think the lines on the roads r for decoration! In a car they pretty much fight u off the road, on a bike...*shudders*. DON'T RIDE A BIKE IN AN ARABIC COUNTRY! THEY WILL KILL YOU!

I quite agree!! I hated being driven around Riyadh in a BUS and car let alone ride over there.. .Fuck that I say!:eek5: No amount of gear or skilled riding would save ya from dying on the roads over there!
And people think Auckland drivers are mad... ya wanna see Riyadh! :gob:They use their horns as indicators, they don't look to see if anyone is beside them for lane changes - they just go!! I didn't realise for the whole time I was there that the road/motorways were 3 single way lanes in one direction - i thought they were 6 single lanes!!! :shit:

I must confess. My first ride on a bike ended in a VERY similar fashion.
Straight across the parade ground, into the wall at the other side.
I reacted to the clutch as if I was on a mountain bike, ie. squeese both handles to stop. This twisted the throttle as well, revving the bike, making me panic and let the levers go... and the rest is history...
