I bought my new tyres from up north and they are being shipped to Wellington as I type.

Can someone please recommend me a shop / place to fit and balance the new tyres in Wellington?

Any particular shops not happy about fitting someone elses tyres?

Also - what would you expect to pay for a tyre fitting and balancing? (they also have to take the wheels off - ie. the full job).

TSS just charged me $25 a couple of weeks ago. All you do is take the rim and tyre in and they'll sort it. Best to ring them first though....

Since you are in Johnsonville you could try Richards Motorcycles :niceone:
Other than that, pretty much any shop would do - try getting on the phone and finding out who would, and how much they charge.

I thought about Richard's (He's only 500 metres down the road and I go past him each day). He's just so damn busy. Will call him anyhow....

Will save having to take car (with tyres) and bike for fitting... Can whip the kids into taking a tyre each whilst I ride the bike :headbang:

PS: TSS was cheapest (not by much though) out the the 4 main in wellington, so will be them if Richard is too busy.
