That was one helluva ride, alot of expert sections & whilst all rideable there was one uphill that was pretty gnarley.

Postives:
- Alot of expert sections.
- The expert sections were not easy
- Alot of really cool downhills, one expert one in the bush was fantastic, lots of drop offs under roots to jump over.
- average speed 39kph for the fast guys in my group, so not alot of just open the throttle & cruise stuff.
- They added some manmade jumps, really cool, especially the last one over the drain ( ok 5 foot wide ditch )
- Tree roots that were not more slippery than ice.

Negatives:
- The marking was not quite as good as the riding, though never got lost, spent a bit of time looking around.

Foolish moments ( for chop / billaroo ):
- Falling into the electric fence while trying to tie the kick stand up, would have been ok if I had not got tangled, really well tangled in the hot wires, spent what felt like 5 minutes trying to get out, probably 2, definitely enough time to get a few kicks from the fence & the poor guy who tried to pull my bike out got a good 4 or 5 for his trouble, my boot got caught in the wires, I blame the barb wire, but really pure incompetence on my part was the problem.
- Riding to fast into the steepest part of the track ( bad recollection of the steep parts ) & ended up on the front wheel avoiding the fence, what looked a massive root, and two trees that seemed intent on jumping in front of me, front behind it looked spectacular I'm told, the good part was I overshot the corner by a metre & the lower line was way easier on the next section ( being really not smart I didn't take the easy line next time around ).

yeah it was i mint ride, suited me except it was a bit to dry, i tihnk i saw your wagon when we come in, doesnt help that we didnt get the till 11am, then when we came back off our first loop i think you guys had gone, the guys i was with spent alot of time playing on the jumps, all the broxy coaching they get must be paying off :msn-wink: i did 2 laps with all expert loops and ended up in a reall nasty bog due to the sinage not being visable,(someone had been in the before us too) chop would have had a good day in the tight stuff?

lol, they can go those guys, I was @ the same training ( tail end charlie ). I was one of the first people into that bog I think, a dead end one bottom of a gully just past a hard right up a bank, was ok being first, but I bet it got progressively worse.
Chop would have been in his element I reckon, some of that stuff was damn near as tight as the tight stuff in the Sandpit, but the downhills were up a level from the sandpit stuff.
I was actually only there at the start & end, had a quick gas/drink/snack break for the two stops, next time ( should have cold beer if we can get the fridge sorted out ).
