I now have available for sale my brother's original condition December 1995 DR350SE with only 26,000km on the clock as per this ad http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showpost.php?p=1999762
I'd love one of our adventure riding fraternity to be able to enjoy this bike or for a person new to adventure riding to take on the fun with this bike.
PM me now about it.

yeah Merv great bike the DR350:niceone:, would be good to see a few more on some of our ADV rides, to many newbies jump from the 250 and on to the 650's:doctor:(more an ego thing i thinks), where as the 350 is the perfect stepping tool to the big bore's.the 350 would be an assett to any riders shed.
i would if i could.

What the bike, or the hidden gem's that aren't popping up to buy it?
There must be some worthy potential adventurer out there and I just don't have room to store my Bro's bikes in my garage as well as our own stuff. I've had to put one car out and its not so happy getting cold at night.

The bike. People used to rave about the 350 as an excellent adventure mount. Didn't know they did an electric leg version.

Seriously PM me your contact details if you have a plan in mind we could talk about. This bike is looking for a good home.

Yep, it is the SE version, basically like the 650 which is also the SE version - steel tank, electric start (don't think that's why they're called that though S probably for sports but E would be for electric). As me and my Bro got older we got sick of kick starting our bikes, so he tried the 350, but me being shorter thought I'd try the 250 which I got in '98. Only problem was that while the 350 pulls like a tractor the twin cam 250 just wasn't a good dirt engine so I then swapped to the WR250. My Bro loved this 350 so much he just kept it.
You'll see in this pic http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=124041&d=1238057270 the electric starter behind the engine block and of course the yellow start button on the right hand switch block.

Merv's late brother's bike looks really nice - I had 99 DR350X before the DR650. If I could justify another bike I'd certainly buy it.
These machines are highly rated - for the interested check out the DR350 thread over on ADV rider. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=230695&highlight=dr350
Go well Merv - cheers Aslan :scooter:
