Clock and indicator wanted cheers
I have a set of instruments with 180 kph speedo. Clock is about as munted as the one on my bike. They all crack and not all the segments work. But part of the fun of the ride is guessing the time :)
If you wanted to make it worth my while I'd consider selling bits. Is it only the clock as in hours/minutes device ?? :)

You may find some indicator lenses from wrecker up this way. He has wrecked one recently but it was pretty munted up front

Yer ill give him a email, yer only the clock ae. I am probly going to pick up a lcd screen and take it into polytech and get some of the guys to help me connect it back up, looks easy enough, ill tell you how i go, and if works would be happy to fix other peoples clocks. Cheers

All sounds good. The only other thought I had was adapting a LCD voltmeter into the assembly. JayCar http://www.jaycar.co.nz/ somewhere in their line-up have one but looked like it would take quite a bit of inspiration to get it all fitted in a tidy manner.
The beauty with having a voltage indicator is ... being a Honda, it may give you early warning of rectifier / battery issues.
But if you do get something sorted regardless of what it is post up a pic of your efforts

My clock on mine (back in the day) stopped displaying some of the digits. Found that moisture gets into the wiring connector block and causes corosion. Cleaned it out and it worked fine again.

i think that the sun's UV rays have damaged the screen its self. The cyrstals have seperated and the board is not coroded at all. I use to have a mini Multimeter on my nc-24 that use to moniter the voltage, and i made it so it could be detached to check coil rersistances etc... but making a voltage reader seams pretty easy. they sell lcd units on trademe about the size of the vfr clock screen and u could just put that in their instead of the clock into the housing and wire it up to the battery.
