Hey Shane sorry to hear that man! I'm in Royal Heights not far from you and on Wednesday morning I heard a four wheel drive coming up my road and slowing down as it approached my drive way. The vehicle was a teal color, the driver was a white male with long blond hair, he stopped just long enough to look up my drive way but as I was walking down to see if he was a customer or not he took off quickly before I could get his number plate. I have no doubt he was scoping out my place. I didn't even have time to note what make of vehicle other than it was a jap 4wd, perhaps a nissan mistral.
Might not be relevant but if you've seen a similar vehicle scoping out your place it might be.

Also this week received notification via mail of a Honda CRF250X stolen from Kumeu near the end of January, so watch out everyone, seems the thieving scum are hitting the west at the moment.

The vehicle was a teal color,

i `can only think of mistrals / wizards and mu's that come out in those colours if that helps at all.

i feel lucky to be in a small(er) town. we dont seem to have the same sort of crime here with identifiyable objects. theifs here are more into lollies and t shirts in town

Hey shane - are those light areas on the guards a trick of the light or are they pressure scars from tweeking the plastics?
If so , then that is a very distinctive feature along with the bling seat cover and will make it easier to spot. although it wouldnt surprise me if The theif has no idea and runs regular straight gas in it and cooks it on his first ride.
save it as a search on trade me and then you will have all the YZs come up each morning- you never know. good luck mate:headbang:

Yep no that stealing gut wrenching feeling. lost 5 about a yera ago now. Where the hell are all these bikes going?

I moved because we had ours stolen they now come in a locked down alarmed garage padlocked with 12mm thick chain and battleship locks. The garage is wired up to 240v so come and try.!:whocares: I would love to paste one of them they would never be able to get themselves off the garge door handle with 240v at about 20 amps going through them! :2guns:And they get in any other way there is a bloody great rottweiller in the garage itself to tare them to pieces.

On top of that they are now insured!
