Think I will go for a test blast tomorrow. My bike has been in bits over the last wee while with forks and exhaust off the bike. Well, over the last week I have replaced the seals and tidied up the old girl a bit. The cans and pipes have had a bit of a paint with heat proof paint...matt black now instead of rusty chrome.
Everything is back on save the fairings, will do that tomorrow. The biggest worry I had was putting the disk calipers back on. I was hoping to fire up the old girl but found the battery was flat, so that is on charge.
I feel rather proud of what I have done as I thought that I dont have a mechanical bone in my body...but the internet is a grand thing with all the guides and such...
now where does that spare nut go???
