View Full Version : Bikes spotted on regular (non-motorcycling) TV programs

I thought a thread on cool bikes we see on TV programs could be interesting.
Please don't mention programs like 'American Chopper' or any motorcycle racing - the subject is normal TV programs that happen to have a nice or notable bike on them.

I remember that program 'Renegade' where the main dude rode around on his big cruiser.

Then there was 'Dark Angel' where Jessica Alba's character rode a nice Ninja.

Last Saturday I was watching episode 7 of 'Doll House' and Eliza Dushku's character rode a Ducati 1098 - bright red, so it must have been a fast one! It was pretty damn nice too! For those of you who don't download their TV and don't know the program: http://epguides.com/Dollhouse/

So, what other nice bikes do you guys recall having seen on TV programs?

Point of clarification:

In New Zealand we have computer programs but television programmes.
(In the USA they erroneously don't distinguish between the two.)

But I download my TV Programs from the USA so I think spelling them the British way would be wrong.

The best bit was when he had it parked in the elevator - with an out of order sign on the elevator door. Such a funny programme!

Melrose Place - Jake rode a motorbike and they actually film him riding. (This clip brings back memories)

Jake and Daphne Zuniga check out 4.15 on and the last 20 seconds. Or watch the whole thing.

And what bike is it?

I wondered if it was the same one on 107 as either of the 2 in the pilot episode, it was of course the same client. I couldn't be arsed watching the first episode to see.

*oh OK*
Right - first episode she is riding a red Ducati 848 and he is riding a red Ducati 1098.
But his 1098 in the first episode had white flashings on the sides near the front, in 107 it is all red, could still be the same 1098 though.

The TV series Battlestar Galactica had flying bikes. Those things were amazing.

Here's a site with them being built up from their original donor bikes.

And part way through this montage CHiPs go to pull them over and they do what many of us wish we could.

Michael Crawford did some incredible stunts. I still remember the episode where he roller-skated under a moving truck. I was just a little kid at the time and it terrified me. Fantastic.
