Well - I'll be one of the first. Have a call with Microsoft this morning - get in for the call due to start at 6.30am.

Bastards!!! the call starts at 7.30 but they thought I could do with coming in realllllly early. All my workmates in the US think its hilarious.

It's April 1, so yesterday was the end of the financial year for most companies, including the one the vifferbabe works as a Tax Mangler for. This means she was out getting pissed until 2AM.
This means I'm even more tired than usual, and still had to go to work (was only 90 minutes late), but she could sleep in.

Yep, a few of us got this place going this morning.

We sent an email around last night telling everyone that as of midnight, the IT network is switching over to the new Telecom fast broadband service. We told all the staff that Telecom are trialling a new Touch Screen tedchnology through the broadband and after logging on as normal they are to touch the 'Start' button on the bottom left hand side of the screen, select "Touch Screen' from the menu and away they go.

So far, we have had four people fall hook, line and sinker for it. Two of 'em have been emailing IT support all morning and are getting equally frustrated at the lack of reply (cos the guy is wetting himself laughing under the desk). One of the guys has even restarted his computer 5 times and has been swearing at his monitor all morning. To top up the prank, we've un hooked his keyboard and mouse so now he has the right arse.

All good fun and frolics, eh

I heard of a mum convincing her 10 & 11yo kids it was a pyjama party at school today. They took clothes in their bags but didn't realize they were had until mum had dropped them off!
