Roses are red too,
two and two is four,
four and four is eight,
eight and four is twelve,
there are twelve inches on a ruler,
Queen Mary was a ruler,
Queen Mary is a ship,
ships sail on seas,
fish swim in the sea,
fish have fins,
the Finns fought the Russians,
Russians are called The Reds,
Fire Engines are always rushing to fires,
That's why Fire Engines are Red.

Fuck knows why I remember that - it's 25 years or more since I read it.
Why raincoats are yellow! by dasser reminded me of it.

In another language, at least 20 years ago I knew it too :) Or at least a very close approximation.

It's gibberish. anyway the best colour to make something noticed is yellow. It's the first colour the human brain registers when it sees a full pallette.
