I'm building an electric bike from an old honda CT90, but I've realised I need to get a bigger and better bike.

Is anyone else out there doing anything like this? Does anyone have any bike recommendations? Or a bike with no engine for sale in wellington?
I'm goal is something like this, but with better range (more batteries):
