?

At the Quarry carpark at 6?

Was not thinking of a full on assault, maybe just round to the beach.

If so can someone bring a camera, I forgot mine.

Eddie - thanks for your text - I'm sorely tempted - it's such a lovely evening - however; wifey arrives home this evening so had better be responsible and get some stuff done at home. Also am off to the BMWOR rally in the AM.

Those who go tonight - Eddie, AndyMac et al have fun!

Balrog - sorry to see you unwell and Paladin sorry that like me you have domestic responsibilities - Ciao and Carpe Diem :scooter:

Thanks Andy for joining me on a little excusion around Red Rocks. Andy took me further around than I had been before. Pictures were taken with a crappy camera phone

If you look really closely you can see the South Island. If I'd had a decent camera it would be obvious

Hey Eddie, did Andy take you to the deep sand round by the lighthouse?

We went to Long Gully gate, because we decided there was no point in tiring ourselves out in the sand. :bleh: But I've only just woken up from my snooze in front of the tv.

Nice ride, cheers Eddie.

You lightweight!

Quite the opposite, which is why we didn't try the really soft section. There weren't enough GS pushers present.

I know mate, I was just kidding gov, honest!

:crybaby:

Andy & I went up to the second lot of vicious sand when we did Red Rocks together so was sort of an inside joke (hence the whistle smiley!) between me and Andy as we found it REALLY hard and turned back, and we didn't even have a heavy beemer with us!

;)

Nice that you guys could get out there on such a lush evening - was fuming i couldn't come and after the fact even more fuming as I had a right full on hassle day between kids playing up and ex-wife taking major liberties yesterday.
Am gonna have to go out for a blat today and let off some steam!
(:calm: Dave)

I've never 'done' Red Rocks and would be keen one weekend. Unfortunately the evening rides don't really work for me.

Would anyone be interested in having a 'go as far as we can' look on the weekend of the 18th/19th?

It would have to be on the saturday, there's no vehicle access on Sundays.
