Tri oval baffle removal?

i just got a new tri oval and the guy who put it on said if i drill the rivet out i could slip the baffel/reducer plug out the end,ive drilled it but it appears to have a bend in it so i think im fucked!! any one done this befor? thanks

Mate had a tri-oval, but it was on a k6 thou...

If its the baffle, its fine, you just need a firm hold of the baffle with the pliers, and wiggle it a bit, and it should come out. Its always hard the first time :shifty:

bend in the insert,where it comes off the can the tip changes direction (so its not pointing skwards) and the insert has the same bend in it,so naturally its binding up!?
what to do...

The tip of the baffle should be quite a bit larger than the rest of the baffle. Therefore, with the rest being a smaller diameter, it should be able to slide out the hole (even with the bend in the end cap)

hey mate,you were right,just had to man up and get the vice grips on it,bit of force and it poped out.thanxs for the advice!

ha ha yea,we talking bout the baff,nothing broke,but it was such a tight fit that when it finnaly came out i smashed it into my knee and took the skin off lol!

lessons learnt...dont drink and remove baffels in the nude,you'l get hurt:laugh:
