This day was awesome. The coaches were awesome. Lunch was awesome. The people riding were awesome. Heaps of chicks there too - awesome. Ummm what else can I say - awesome.
Thanks heaps to Pete and Greg from AMCC for all the coaching and mentoring. You guys were great and we all really appreciated the one on one attention and all the feedback given. The theory throughout the day was really helpful too. I have way more confidence on the bike and I think I'm finally getting those corners right - well at least I'm realising when I'm not getting them right ha
Also thanks to all the boys that rallyed around me to help me load and unload the bike, warm my bike up, rub suntan lotion into my back and back my trailer. Jacko when my new trailer is finished there is definitely room for your bike and hot lighting guy that I promised I would stalk - sorry I've forgotten your name so I'm not going to be able to ha ha.
This was a well organised and really really fun day. I'm really looking forward to the next track day so I can keep practicing the things that I learnt today. :woohoo:

So I rode all the way to down to Taupo (680kms total) when there was a track day at Puke (50kms from home) on the same day
Bugger !
How can I find out about AMCC days before they happen ?

I think that the next AMCC ART day is 29 August.
Note that these are specifically Advanced Rider Training Days, not just track days, with separate syllabuses for each group from 1 (track novices) through to 4 (race or thereabouts).
Groups 1 and 2 have conscious input about applicability of the techniques for road riding, too.
Thanks for the praise, Leanne.
Cheers

Great to hear that you had a good day at the AMCC event.
I spoke to you for a while about your lowered suspension on the GSXR but I was taking group 3 for instruction and also riding in group 4 do didn't get to see you on track.
See you next time hopefully

I throughly enjoyedthe day myself and my first time there. Does anyone happen to know the photographer that was out there that day that we can obtain pictures from?
