I think I'm more excited than him actually...which is possibly why I'm posting and not him.

Anyhoo, I've been gently encouraging (aka nagging) my man to get a bike for a while (okay ever since we met and got together over 4yrs ago). He's got his full MB License but hasn't ridden in years. His son had bought a motorbike last year and had been riding without having a license :shit:. Long story short his son decided he wanted the money more than the bike and has sold it to my man at a very good price.

It's a grey bike...okay, okay it's a Suzuki GSXR250, 2004. I got to ride it home from Waikanae yesterday cos my man doesn't have all the gear yet. It's quite weird for me because the riding position is quite different from my bike and the chain is very, very loose....scarily so. It has flash lights that tell ya wot gear you're in and a petrol gauge - all the mod cons!

So after a wee bit of work I reckon he'll be set and we'll be out riding just in time for Winter!! I'll try to get him to post something himself with some pics.

Sweet. 2 more racers in the upcoming VMCC Mini Lite 250 class.:devil2: What better way is there to learn the fundamentals of machine control?
