Can you arrange for my family to be elsewhere?
They make me watch tapes of Americas' got talent, instead.

Old news really - goes back about 8 years IIRC ;)
...but no, they aren't slowing down and they aren't loosing the touch either. It's quite frankly awesome that BBC recognises the appeal of the program and keeps on upping their budget - especially in this PC, greeny whiny era of metrosexuality and environmental awareness.

yea the Vietnam trip that showed on TV was real funny - Jeremy falling off the scooter was just hilarious - better yet how he struggles in one through out - this is the last episode for the latest season

Best TG ever, even the bride loved it, funnier than most 'comedies' on offer. Great stuff.

Damn! I get 1 and 2 fuzzy, no 3 or 4, prime is a slightly less than nothing at all fuzz with occasional voices and maori TV absolutely crystal clear

Im going to write to Winston Peters!

Yes! Finally! A Top Gear episode that's all about bikes.
Converting them to boats at the end was a necessary nod to the show's traditions, I suppose.
I did chuckle quite a bit throughout. Good stuff.

Daylight Savings have fair done me in! I missed it...
The episode a couple of weeks ago with the Ford Fiesta review would have to rate as a classic Top Gear segment.

Jeremy is just a bad-tempered meanie for deliberately dropping James' bike though! It's not his fault Jeremy couldn't stay inside the lines during the licence test!
But yeah I LOL'd too on several occasions and almost felt it myself when Jeremy crashed the Vespa. Ouch!
The spanish galleon was a marvellous (if cruel) touch.

Gotta love the paint job in pink, then painting other bikes in carpark.
That cracked me up especially, that random woman walks off and starts painting some poor persons bike bright pink.
Was aslo hilarious how James May's boat/scooter/boater/thing started falling to bits while the others watched and he ended up swimming to the finish.
Gah, it was pretty much all funny.

It was one of the few TG's that my wife has sat thru (she hates the program).
Last night she was pissing herself.
When Hammond fixed the galleon then stood up - putting in into the ceiling fan. Brilliant !!!!

The plastic bag full of weeds jammed into Jeremy's electrics to stop a bad connection disconnecting was great. You don't see that sort of initiative from New Zealand motorcycle mechanics - well not the ones I use.

My favourite part, it reminded me of something similar from one of the scary movie series.

Jeremy made me feel ever so much better at my attempt at learning to ride

Now that was great television.
I can never stomach Discovery or National Geographic documentary's on non western countries as they bore me senseless. Sure, a lot of it was staged and rehearsed but still bloody funny and good entertainment.
As always, the camera work is amasing too.

Haha Jeremy crashed, serves him right. I think Jeremy would of had more respect for a bigger bike (epic fail that would of been).
But none the less pretty funny

That was primo, although I already had it on my portable hd... and prime was patchy, so waited for 7.30pm, then played it on my laptop, piped through the TV, just like a bought one!
Strange how movies / TV shows etc seem more enjoyable when you watch it on TV, as opposed to just downloaded. Or maybe that's just me... oh well...
And Vietnam really is an incredible place! I did a 5-day bike ride around the North 2 years ago with my brother... 2 guys and luggage on a 110cc single for 5 days!

I've been living and riding there for 10 years on those roads, or that's where I'm from. They showed their bikes at the Memorial War Museum and started off where the Statue of Uncle Ho is (Ho Chi Minh *doh*). It's a crack up watching it from another perspective thou (YOU'RE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!!! :woohoo:
And the Vespa that he rode is one of the most UNRELIABLE piece of machine that one can buy in Viet Nam, the Minsk is an absolutely fabolous machine and much reliable. And the Honda Super Cub (I had one) tops out at 60kmh and will ride for 30 years LOL.
