Hi all
Really good to see a forum that is just for us girls!
I learned to ride a BMW 650GS in the UK ('Direct Access' course) about 3 years ago, before we emigrated - definitely a case of 'if you can't beat them, join them!' Hubby's been riding for years!
We've done quite a few trips since we've been here, and plan to do the Gentle Annie, and the gravel road between Waikaremoana and Murupara (Napier way) this Easter weekend.
Looking at all the guys organized trips, they all seem to do huge distances. I'm generally happier with 350 km max per day! And t'other half agrees.
So - do you have girls rides out, and is he allowed to come? (he is house trained).
We're in South-East Auckland.

Hello Topcat83 and welcome.
There's nothing to stop you organising a 'Girlie Rideout'.
I sure there will be lots of takers.
Good luck and don't take KB too serious.

Hi topcat!! Welcome to KB. If you organise something people will generally turn up, so go for it!:) Love to hear how you find the Waikaremoana Rd this weekend coming, my mum lives in Wairoa and I'm always temped to go for a ride through there when I'm visiting her. Have fun, ride safe. :sunny:

welcome.
+1 on organising your own desired ride. We could use some more sedate rides instead of the hoonage thats been happening lately.

When the girls organise a GIRLS ride over here, they are quite clear that its a GIRLS ride. I think they have only had to be a little blunt to one person so far. Not impolite, mind, just blunt. ;)

Actually, I think it meant what she means before it meant what you mean. What I mean to say is....ah, f*%k it, who cares!?
Welcome to KB TC. You'll like it here, as long as you're a bit unhinged that is

Hey, TC, Welcome to KB! Nice to see you doing a ride down our ways.. Haven't ridden that road, and don't intend to on my bike:baby:
There's heaps of chicks on bikes around, and I'm sure you'll get to meet some. Shame I'm working this weekend...
