Hey, I need to know what the current "list" price is for a certain car. While this means jack in this environment, I'm keen to know a starting point.

Anybody got access to this?

Ring an insurance company and get a quote. Most insurance companies will either use Dealers Guide or Redbook for market value. Ask the call centre rep to tell you what the market value is.

If I have some time I could have a look on Dealers Guide. PM me the make / model.

I know a guy who sets residuals I could ask, but he reckons he gets better information off trademe than he does the redbook.

That's probably the most logical answer. The car is reasonably rear though and it still looks like people are still being precious about pricing. Bite, recession, bite!

You're right. But on this occasion, so is ours but they want money for a rather simple service.
