Bike SOLD SOLD SOLD - cheers everyone.

My beloved White Princess is up for sale :(

Pearl White with shiney spec paint.

The Bike was bought from Holeshot Suzuki in July 2008 with 23000 km on the clock. It is up to 49 900 ish right now.

Currently taken out once a week just to keep it in top condition but Kms will stay reasonably the same as I use the 900 for 99% of the time.

Servicing: All major servicing has been done by Cyclespot Honda on Barrys point road. Oil and filter changes every 5000km by myself. Due for its 50 000km oil and filter change soon, but if you want to buy it before it has reached the 50 000km I shall change oil and filter for you.

All fluids were changed in november 08, so you dont need to worry about radiator fluid and coolants for at least another 1 year.

WOF was done in january and passed with flying colours. No rust and stuff like this as it has been looked after like a daughter.

Rego expires 06/06/09

It has a small dent on the tank on the right hand side but nothing major. See pics. Also small mark on right hand tail fairing but that is almost not notisable. Normal stone chip condition for age i.e one or two but thats about it.

Chain and sprockets were changed at 44 000km and untill then it ran fine with its original chain, so no need for you to change chain and sprockets for a while :niceone:

The back sprocket is 2 teeth larger than the standard and this gaves it a better run from the corners, and it is absolutely supreme. Downside of this is that the speedo reads 10km/h more than the actual speed. I.e it shows 110km/h when you are actually doing 100.

Tyres are currently GPR100. Back has about 40% thread left, fron has about 10% left, so front will have to be changed fairly soon.

The bike is very quiet and very smooth compared with the year 96 models which I have ridden.

It has fitted oggy crash knobs which are a very very useful thing in a minor frop and also are great to rest your feet up on on long jurneys.

I have also made a radiator cover for it as thise stone chips can cost you a new radiator.

The Exhaust cover has been polished by metal polishers and is just a pure pleasure to look at

Altho this is not my first bike, it is the first bike I fell in love with  and would be delighted if it goes to a KBer, but will not be sold to carver or skidmark.

The Honda Hornet is one of the best 250's I've ever ridden and that's why I own one  cant recommend them enough!

Best of luck selling your Pretty Princess Toto and I hope it goes to a nice new home!

With the sprocket change the odometer will be counting up km's 10% faster too so it's done less km than it says :) Can you get a speedo healer for analogue speedos?

Good luck with the sale. Looks like a very fair price for a Hornet in Auckland.

No unfortunately the speedo runs from the front sprocket so not possible to do speedo healer.

The bike has had the new sprocket and chain only for a few thousand kms so new owner can put a standart sprocket on for 30 bux if not fancy the slightly different sppedo.

I for one think its worth keeping the bigger sprocket tho

That's a bummer but it's hardly worth worrying about eh. 10% is bugger all for the extra pull.

Hehe yeah totally worth it. Planning to go -1+3 on the 600rr when the chain needs replacing for a laugh :headbang:

Bike is currently sitting in a mates garage... waiting. I wish I could just fly up for a day and go for a burn on it. Oh well, get dropped off at depo on thursday then in about two weeks time should be waiting for me at McIver and Veitch.

Will hopefully get them to bring in a new front wheel for it a few days before hand and have them fit it ready for me to take it home.

This will be the longest 2 weeks ever.

Cheers for everything Todd
