Pretty much. Last ride I went there my clutch died which was no fun, would be cool to go back some time with a working bike. There's a fair bit of roady stuff to get to the actual trails iirc, but it's not a huge deal.

hmmm i c, have you been to riverhead?
thats more technical imo than woodhill and thats clay based, it was hard work, awesome tho

was the clutch dying from over use or something failing?

Nah it was from the previous owner putting on folding levers that didn't fit right on the bracket, burned through 2 clutches before we figured that was the problem, put on some cheap other ones and never had a problem after that. Never been to riverhead, I didn't get to do much of maramarua cause of the dead clutch, krads brother liked it/made it through and he's a noob and was on the old lump. There's some cool scenery out there, would like to go again some time.
Don't know how fun it'd be in the wet tho, It was a bit damp when we were there and that was enough to clog up your tyres on uphills.

Maramarua is pretty wicked. Pretty much something for everyone. In the wet it would be a handful though.

There are A/B loops options all over the place so lots of choices. Keen to go back actually.

We are going to Harrisville motox park on Sat with a bunch of motox guys from work. I'll be riding in the B's.
Note to B000M, try not to land on me :P

On Sunday there is that ladies thing at the sandpit so I'll have to load up bikes etc and will probably end up riding there for the day while the ladies do there thing.
