Bastards.....30 fuckin minutes and 3 telephone calls to remove a telecom freedom mobile number from my account. Call centre woman kinda implied I was an idiot, so I told her to ring the fuggin 0800 number and do it. 10 minutes later...."umm..sorry Mr Gregg, there appears to be no facility to remove the number so I've emailed the freedom department". FFS.

No problems adding stuff to your account when you dial 123 but you have to ring a fuggin automated answering system to remove or make changes. Bunch of arse.

Dont get me started on these barstards!... Last week I won an ongoing war with them and got $800++ of debt wiped, it was not mine to pay!! I had to threaten a couple of people but got there eventually. Silly guy had the cheek to ask me why I was so angry, so I told him... :innocent:

Yeah but thats telecunt for you. Lets make things nice and easy to ge money going into their account, and fucking difficult to make it stop.

They kept contacting me by all manner of ways and means - they even knocked on my fucking door!! I angrily told them to fuck off and never return, and they never did. At all. Ever.

Wow - thats witty - did you make that up by yourself?

Do you ever do anything 'not angrily'? - you know - as in, a calm, polite mature manner?

Or did you simply threaten to take Telecunt International?

Telstra...bwhahahhahahahahahahaa. Tried them on my other line and it was short lived. The only company that managed to work out more expensive than Telecom whilst having even shitter call waiting times. Switched that line to Vodyfoney...shitty service but at least they're cheap.

They should be cheaper, the fuckers save money by not sending you a bill for years on end. Then you have to ring them every month else they'll cut you off.

I had Telstra Cable TV, phone & broadbeans when I was in Welly. All in all great products but it was torture having to interact with the company on what was a very regular basis due to their apparent invoice non-posting policy.

The hardest companies to deal with over the phone have for me always been telecommunications providers. Ironic if it wasn't so fucking annoying.

We try...

Since starting work here, I have gained an understanding of how things can go horribly wrong in telecommunications. It's been a very steep learning curve and I have been particularly impressed with the current management and their strenuos efforts to lift our game in customer service and in fixing stuff that breaks.

They are always wanting feedback on issues customer's face and how they were resolved. Working in the small to medium business arena I've seen real progress from a management team that is very pro-active and very supportive of their staff. Training has improved considerably for consultants and it is showing in customer feedback.

How many companies do you know where you can see the CEO having lunch in your cafeteria on a visit and just plonk yourself down at his table and chat away like old friends? Okay, I got on well with him from the start because Roger Freeth was his cousin.. but still...:msn-wink:

There will always be issues that need to be addressed but this company is working hard from the top down to get things right first time.

If anyone has issues with Telstra Clear, keep a note of my free-phone business number and call me. I have contacts in business and residential who I can call on to fix things and they've performed minor miracles at times!

One customer had been trying to get Broadband since Sept. but was told Telecom couldn't provide it to her address. (TelstraClear's off-net services are wholesaled from Telecom Wholesale). I emailed one of my contacts and she had it in three days... Can't promise anything of course...

I've heard horror stories about our dear friends at Vodafone...

They are like Oron in that they purchase cheap line packages from Telecom Wholesale and then can't provide features and services.

One customer was told by Vodafone that the exchange they were on was not able to provide Toll Barring for their Motel and they had to remove the phones from the rooms! One call confirmed that the only service not available on that exchange was restricted calling using a PIN.

Another customer signed up to Orcon which could provide 10GB Broadband and the equivalent of our Ultimate plan for just the cost of Ultimate. No way we could match it. Then the customer wanted to add Call Divert and Faxability... Whoops, sorry no can do... Guess who just got two new customers...

I work for one. Quite refreshing.
