Thanks to BiK3RChiK, I now have the Stebel Magnum installed.....fortunately I did NOT test it late last night or early this morning...else I would now be looking for a new neighbourhood to live in........

Yeah...effin' loud...can't wait for the next WOF test...better get the dude to stick the stand down before he pushes the button....:devil2:

Just be careful when you wash your bike. If it gets water in it, it wont work until you drain it. Because it has a spiral shell shape, it will have to be removed so you can rotate it to drain.

I have it facing downwards...as per the diagram. Should be OK...I hope. I did wonder about putting it inside some kind of watertight container...

At the moment i have it poking to the side of the radiator (LHS), kinda tucked in behind it since the space the original was in is too small for the magnum. The strap mounts that came with the horn are pretty flimsy when you join two together - I will change that arrangement out for something more substantial as soon as I get around to it (he says hopefully...). This morning when I was doing the job it was pissing down outside so I had to work in the gloom of the garage, squashed in between the firewood stack and the junk stack on the other side, using a torch for close up illumination. I am sure I can improve on that with a bit of time....

Yep. Burn the firewood. Sell the junk on Trademe. Buy more bikes.
