Have been asked about derestricting the electronic speedo limiter on an import XJR1200. Anyone done this or does anyone have an electrical diagram for an import model XJR1200 ? which wire gets the resistor?

I presume that this is for the track? Otherwise why would you?

You'll find the actual SPEED limiter is just a contact in back of the speedo.basicly its like a bell that swings round and when the speedo gets to 185km/h it cuts the engine. Thats quite easy to disconnect.
What you will possibly also find is you have a rev limiter as well that means you can go faster in fourth/fith than in top gear
