Well I am sure I have said in a post I would never change, well due to front failing on WOF and Coleman's being a Pirelli dealer, went for the Rosso's.
Did some research...in a UK bike test they beat the Powers...on a new CBR1000...
Well still fresh but they feel more planted...the contact patch thingy is from MotoGP...they do feel more stable.
Going to Whangamata on Sunday to say Hi to Mr Bruce so a good place to test...
Anyone changed to Rosso's

Yes.
Utter crap, as I may have posted in other threads and forums. I hate Rosso and they're not worth their name.
Feels unstable, rate of turn is unprogressive/unpredictable, and not inspiring confidence at all.
But I changed from Diablo Supercorsa Pro, so I might have been a bit biased. I dunno...

I can't really say much as I only run the Sports Demon however I couldn't really ask for much more from em. They stick when they're warm and have slipped once or twice but are very progressive and let you feel like you're able to catch it in plenty of time.

Guess you cannot always believe the media...but they were the opposite of what you have experience.
I think that tyres are personal...I did not want to move away from the Powers...but fate put me with the Rosso's and so far they seem to track better...will find out tomorrow...no harm trying...

I had a Diablo Rosso on the rear when I couldn't get a Road 2 to replace the Road 2 I already had on there. 10 weeks later I was back on a Road 2CT because it wore out. Fun 10 weeks though. :2thumbsup

I did, and while I don't ask much of them they do everything I need, wet or fine.
With certain provisos, I would place a lot more credence on what I read in the media than what I read on KB...

Yes, tyres are very personal. Otherwise, Dunlop would've been out of business 5 years ago.
Again, as I have said, I might have been very biased since I "stepped down" from a Supercorsa Pro. It was a $250 retail price difference FYI, so it might have been "it" :)
Those tyres were awesome. Slick compounds on the side if I remember correctly. I believe the closer comparison to them would've been Corsa III, which I think is a step above Rosso. Need to try them next time.

True...one thing that the "Test" said is that the Powers move and the Rosso's did not as they are stiffer and this was a big difference on my ride yesterday....just felt so stable

I've just chucked a set of Road 2's on the motard and i'm very impressed. I gave them a hiding over 3 laps of the hill between Coro town and Whangapoua and had no hint of squirm or slide. Pretty sporty for a sport/touring tyre.
