back for sale on trademe now!
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=274691746

this is a really nice SR500 - runs well with stainless exhaust.
i have been quietly spending big $$$ on it getting the suspension and brakes etc sorted - so now it handles very well - it's like throwing around a mountain bike!
it has:
iKon aluminium rear shocks (built to order for 85 kilo rider)
iKon progressive front springs to match rears with 15 weight oil
fat MX 'bars
brand new Daytona front brake kit with nissin 6 pot front caliper, 14mm master cylinder, braided line and spacers etc
ducati 320mm front disc
Daytona fork brace
nitroheads shorty front guard
nitroheads leather solo cafe seat (still have original and have not removed pillion pegs)
nitroheads rear light kit/ fender eliminator
buell indicators

mechanically it's great, and the brakes are awesome (still have original brakes too)
haven't got to cosmetics yet, but apart from some paint rubbed off the tank where the old seat used to sit, it's pretty good considering it has no time spent on it.

$4k firm. i've spent $3.5k in parts.
not for everyone, but i only want one buyer!

pm me if you have any queries, or post if you want to tell me i'm dreaming and you'll give me $1500 for it and i should be grateful.....

Should never have got bloody married. Those black-haired girls will curtail your motorcycle spending every time... superior power-to-weight-pillion ratio be damned (when compared with local blondes).

Very nice. How come you keep getting all these lovely disc front ends but you never have any left over drum front ends for me to buy!

because this one was always a disc.
just a much smaller, heavier disc with a 25 year old caliper and MC.

Bwaaaah fancy modern bastards!

I'm surprised this hasn't sold yet, terribly versatile and chicks will ask about it any time you park up in Parnell.

Hey - where did you get those shorty front guards? Does someone in NZ sell 'em? Searched on nitroheads but couldn't find a site.
