I think it's time to move away from the cordura and kevlar, especially for winter.. I'm just having trouble finding a pair of leather pants that don't cost almost half a grand, or am I just too picky?

I like the look of these http://www.quasimoto.co.nz/products/leather-bike-pants/estremo-sports-pants as they seem to be a nice fit and don't look like they would move too much in the event of an off, unfortunately it's about $200 - 300 my price range :( Does anyone know something similar without comprimising safety TOO much?

Cheers!

Well going by your kevlar jeans I'm a 38, I fit into them quite snug, so yeah, a modest 38 hehe

Well a very generous KB'er by the name of James Deuce has offered to send me his old leather pants for... nothing!

Really is amazing, the people you meet on this website, there is a lot of negativity around here but I am constantly floored by the generosity of fellow members. If they don't fit I may still be on the hunt as I will be "paying it forward" and passing them on!

One bloody good site, this KB.

Haha, sorry mate! They would be a bit too small for me (6'1ish) but I'm sure someone will nip them up soon!

Thanks to the generosity of KB I can finally start saving some money towards a leather jacket, as that was what I was to get after the pants. I'm still in glee about it all!!
