View Full Version : The dictatorship continues

I recall our corrupt ex dictator, Helen Clarke, the Antichrist itself, hypocritically observing the holy long weekend of Easter while many a suffering bunny rabbit was 22'd on the cross of a telescopic sight. And her wrath was bestowed upon any hard serving peasant who ignored her orders of no work.
But meanwhile, the tranquility of Oneroa Bay on Waiheke Island was interrupted by a commercial enterprise doing its best to relieve the public of its hard earned cash. Yes folks, Auckland City Council had its parking warden in full swing on Good Friday.
What utter cunts.
This is the reason why these fuck knuckles are going to be restructured. Hopefully many of them will end up living under bridges where they belong. On another note, there was much less traffic on my usual route to work this morning but it still took the same time. Why you ask? Because the Council have placed 27 traffic lights within line of site of each other, all synchronised so you had to stop at each one for no reason. These morons should all be made to eat their cardigans and 20 year old sandals while the public get to throw rotten eggs and garbage at them.

Did you get a ticket?? You should report them to the Department of Labour - see if they get a fine for it.
But yes, I agree. A complete pack of wankers. Auckland City wardens somehow manage to be worse than Waitakere ones.

They wont get a fine - they are allowed via a bylaw.

I don't geddit, Mr Finn. I can't be arsed looking, but I bet if I did, all the D'Auckland councils websites will have some pro-Greenie bullshit about how they care for the environment, and love the babylesbianafghanifeministfursealwhalepenguins. Yet (however!) the fuckers are masters of wasting fuel and increasing pollution by making sure traffic is as stop-start as possible. Shirley it would save HEAPS (of $$$, and the aforementioned cute'n'cuddly critters) having an intelligent and co-ordinated traffic control system?
Oh - I gave in, and checked the NorfShaw Cuntsill's website. Yeah, all the bullshit about saving the environment, reducing pollution etc is all there, but the "Traffic Management" link is broken. <chortle>
There was recently a bit in the local rag abut how 'they' had spent almost as much as the councillors' lunch money on a New! Improved!! co-ordinated and 'smart' computer system for all the NorfShaw's traffic lights.
"Yay!" said I, "At last they'll stop being mental, and I'll be able to exit from the end of my street in the weekends when there's no traffic and the traffic lights aren't on a mentalised mechanical timer!".
I've seen no evidence of it so far. Maybe 'they' are still installing the steam pipes, cables and pulleys....

Oh. Good to know, I guess.

I presume you abused him loudly then? My favourite is asking them what they are going to do when they have to get a real job and stop making people miserable.

By the way, in case it has passed the great unwashed by (as it would, because our lefty media will never tell you...) our corrupt ex-dictator, despite delivering her valedictory speach to parliament, has still not resigned. This means we, the long suffering tax payers of this nation are still stumping up for her salary despite the fact she's literally (rather than figuratively for the last 15 years) doing nothing to deserve it...

Bylaw can't override statute. But they are probably covered as 'enforcement officers" under the necessary services provision. Like cops.

It's just a pity that such bylaws fail to recognise the necessity of people wanting to work to feed their families.

I was on a boat and the boat was anchored in Oneroa so in response, no I didn't get a ticket. Although I'm sure that if Helen Clark Jong-il managed to purchase another 3 year term, her devout servants would have introduced parking infringements for boats. I mean, these rich pricks should be punished for owning boats.

It started this morning when I went to brush off what I thought was my girlfriends long black hair from my right ear but it turned out it was well attached.

Did you see the Sunday papers? Reckons he regrets calling John Key that, but in the traditional Labour way, it wasn't his fault. (The gist was that it was John Key's fault, of course).

No. I did ask if they could re-direct delivery to the boat but they said they would have to pass my request to the supervisor. I didn't hear back and there wasn't a paper on the transom Sunday morning... unless of course the milkman stole it.
The slimy toad is just sucking up to his new boss now.

Well he's at least bettered his erstwhile leader and her UK counterpart in actually expressing regret over anything...

Ironic really that Clark turned NZ into a 3rd world country, she gets to dole out billions to third world countries...I wonder if we will get any back?
Notice something else?

UN
UN-liked
UN-useful
UN-organised
UN-sympathetic...
(and yes I have worked with the UN, waste of time and effort)
