Looking to upgrade seat on SV650. Met guy filling his 1000 at gas stn in glenfield/birkenhead. Done a lot of mods.. one of which was the seat. Looked like the sort of thing but the name was one I hadn't heard of before. So can anyone point me in the direction of a good seat for SV650 06.

If you find one, let me know...wooden boards are uncomfortable after 300km...

Thanks Cajun.. Now have new seat from McDonalds motor trimmers. Great service & good to go local. It looks great, shaped far more to be sat on than original. Looking forward to longer ride soon

Bombus, what did you get done? I've got pretty used to the plank, but I'm sure it could lose a bit of height and be a lot more comfortable.

Check out the website provided by Cajun. Pictures there give a pretty good idea of what I got. Its quite different to sit on, I think a bit lower but not so as you'd notice. It is flatter though, I really need to ride over 30ks to know if it remains confortable at the point when you started shifting around on the old one. The web site explains the process, posted seat down to Tauranga on monday..came back wednesday. Will comment more after longer ride, maybe even take a photo

Unfortunately got run into by a hit & run driver on april 26th. Bike's not bad but impact was pretty much dead on lower right leg so crutches for a while yet. Be a while before I fix it.. main damage is to coolant radiator. Seat looks good though!!
