Hi there ladies, I'm very new to MX have come across to the dark side from a DH MTB past and seeing as the boy got himself an RM250, thought I would try my hand on a little TTR125 - I am only 5'1" so thought I would start out on something small, 4-stroke and particularly something I can touch the ground when standing over, and pick up should I fall over

Went out for the first spin yesterday round Red Rocks and had an absolute blast!
Managed to work out the gear thing, had a few near misses with squooshy sand and wobbly gravelly bits but I think I did ok! Managed to stay on!!

Really looking forward to more riding now so wondering whether there are any other ladies out there who live close to town that may be keen to meet up for a ride - patience with me will be necessary as I am still learning!!!!!

hiya, i am a beginner MX rider up in the manawatu. There are some great organised rides over my way which have really improved my riding. While i would love to stick up my hand to go riding with you it is a bit of a logistics problem so i will just wish you good luck!

Hey welcome to KB,
Motors are way better than pedals so you'll never look back.
I'm just getting back into dirt riding myself and finally found a good hack (KDX 200) just to ease back into it.
I'm also keen to find other ladies out there that are into MX. I'm about to launch my ladies dirt column in Motorcycle Trader so if any of you have feedback or would like something specifically covered drop me a PM.

Sweetp, do you go on the Horowhenua club organised rides?
We seem to go to all of them now, looking forward to the sandy one on the 24th of May.
If you are coming along to that one (it's up your way) I would love to meet you. CRFchick from here (Sarah) and I are planning to meet up there and ride together, so you should totally come say hi and hang out with us!!!!
