My re-wire has gone beyond my skill range and I need a good quality mobile auto electrician to come out and finish the job.
I paid a friends partner (supposed electrical expert) who stuffed it up.
The news is not all bad, I had bought a full replacement loom which I have fitted correctly to all the bikes electricals from the steering head back. It is the instruments and switch gear hooking up to the main loom that I need doing.
I will undo what this clown has done, as in unhook all his connections ready for a proffessional to complete.
The bike is a '78 Mk1 Moto-Guzzi and I have a full colour A3 schematic, the bike is in a well lit spacious workshop on a raised stand, so it is not a nightmare job, just run-of-the-mill for a proper auto electrical tradesperson.
So...
Any tradesfolk in Auckland (Henderson is the location) want a job?
Or... does anyone have a recommendation for who I should call?
The phonebook has about 5 listings for mobile auto electricians but they mean nought to me who is good or not.
I normally use Taylor Auto Electrical in New Lynn, and can recommend them, but I sold my ute and can't get my baby in there. Plus I need to do a few more things before she can travel but want this damn wiring done soon.
Thanks,
Michael.
