I got asked the other day by a good friend of mine, If I won Lotto what would be my ideal Dream Bike that I would own.
My answer to that question was I would get a Ducati built to suit me seeing that Ducati dont cater for short Arse people like myself.:argh::weep:

78 900SS.As for why, because they really are full of that thing called character,a term used frequently but without any basis by owners of late model Ducs.

I'd make it myself:
- Reproduction '40s HD frame
- S&S Knucklehead motor
- Baker transmission
- Springer front end
- Stainless laced 16" wheels
Oh yes. That'd do me :2thumbsup

summer glau.....god I would ride that in the wet, in the dry, in thunder storms, at night, in the morning, in snow, underwater, in the sky, in the car, on a bike, in bed, on the kitchen table, covered in chocolate sauce, covered in whipped cream, covered in whipped cream and chocolate sauce, even if we've been camping for three weeks with no showers.
sorry I just regained consciousness after that thought.

I have already sat on a 600 Monster and found the reach to the handlebars too far, and the seat height was still on the highside with me only managing to get my toes to the ground.
I am 5ft in height and always find it hard finding a bike that suits.
Im riding a 250 Ninja at the moment and also riding a RGV150 and a FXR 150 and still not flat footed with any of these bikes.
I guess this is the price you pay for suffering with Ducks Disease.

What would your Dream Bike be and why?
I'm currently (well not at this very moment) riding it. I'd add a set of Tuono front forks and an Ohlins rear, a full Akrapovic or Leo Vince system and that would be that, money no object.

Seeing as I've never  had a go on a ZX14 before, I'd have to say that.
Fitted me perfectly, nice at low speeds if a little long.
Didn't kill me at low revs, either.
Having said that, a handful of MotoX bikes and four roadies are all I've tasted.
Something racy in black chrome with a racing stripe
