I would be talking about myself here.
Last ride out with the gals I decided to be my usual self and ride OVER the grassy knoll rather than around it, and just as I come to the other side saw it duck down a bit more than expected.
I squeezed the brakes and VOI-LA, I was on me arse!
A valuable lesson learned in braking on a standard road bike on moist grass and how she slips and slides.
Bit of a bruise on my knee because its me that gets the injury, nothing else.
So I rode back over the knoll on the way out again ...

I did this once.
MotoX roots really didn't help.

A BIT MORE THROTTLE WILL POINT HER IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!

I have often thought chook-chasers like the DR200 or similar make great learners bikes.
They are good commuters, get good gas mileage, and can manage the open road speed limit on a run.
Then on the weekend you can play in the dirt, and learn lots more about riding, bike control, and err falling off.
It used to be real common in the olden days, all the lads had a an enduro type bike, even after the full licence came along.

A BIT MORE THROTTLE WILL POINT HER IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!I wouldn't. You don't want any braking or power on in slippery circumstances. Just roll over it quietly and leave your braking until you are on a firm surface again (or do it beforehand). Definitely do not need more speed on here. If it's rooly slippery and the there's no gradient involved, pull your clutch in and just coast over it. I wouldn't pull the clutch in on a slippery gradient though, but slippery gradients are a whole topic on their own.

Bad luck! I recall somewhere that wet grass was referred to as "green ice" - so am very wary of it now.

Never ride on grass. Drugs and alcohol impair your riding ability.
