Shipping a bike to Australia?

Hi all
I have just moved to sydney and want to get my ZX9R track bike over. Has anyone got any experiance at getting a bike to aus ? Im told the taxes arent as bad on a competition bike as per a road bike?
any help would be great. Cheers
