Piss! Bum! Shit!

I got the serial # wrong. If you aren't aware of my recent monumental feck up, I lost my keys (no I didn't have spares & yes I know I should've). Then I was sure I had memorised the serial numbers...well it turned out I hadn't (even though I look at the keys everyday). Oh dear.

Going to order correct key tomorrow.

Thanks F5_Dave for popping over and taking the ignition barrel out while it was a little blowy, ooooo oooooo and also gifting me a shiny new side cover for Betty. :niceone:

hey the serial isn't 919 perchance?, you could have been memorising the key upside down!! given the fact the number is a "palindrome"

Used to wear some under my normal clothes (for the protection of the general public), but I had a problem with Chaffing. :puke:

Sorry I seem to have missed whether the GN is up & bubbling again?

Talcum powder is the answer to your chafing woes.

Anyway; the GN repines in my front garden at the moment. I know a guy who knows a guy who knows someone who has (probably) the bits I need to get her going properly again, but... well. It's all taking a little time to actually sort out, and only just started working again, so am sort of skint until the end of the week. *sob*
On the up side, Cath got her keys this morning, and the Beeyatch rides again!
Hip, hip, hooray!
