suggestion for road-adv jacket.i wont be doing heavy duty adv stuff.I also have a leather jacket but that will be a day ride only or fine weather ride to work duty.i want a good year round textile jacket. Will consider a plastic rain jacket if it is really bucketing down.
May as well talk helmets too, back in the day I wore a 7 and 1/8 bell...considering flip front,shoie?/nolan/???

I'm no good on jackets, I just use handmedowns, but as for helmets, my last one (now hubby uses) was a Zeus flip front. Nice to have the option, great helmet but found I didn't really end up using the flip front that much as kept taking the whole helmet off, whereas hubby wears glasses so will probably be more useful for him.

My new helmet (LS2) is lighter and the vents are easier to adjust with gloves on plus has a nose antifog divider, all of which makes quite a big difference.

I have got a Revit Off track jacket. Can not speak highly enough about it. I ride a KTM 990 ADV. Good all round jacket. This type of jacket will do you well in my opinion.

Cheers Dion
