Attached in a picture of my bike without it's fairings along with a picture of my bike with it's fairings. Before I crashed it I was runing it without the side fairings (engine fairings?). I was wondering what fairings I require for a wof. They are hardly part of the structure but from the picture I obviously wouldn't be able to get away without some of them. Also, some of them are fairly.......fucked. The rear fairings don't sit right as they need plastic welding, the front fairing will be lopsided, but I don't care about that.

shouldn't matter provided you have in-dick-er-ators... how would streetfighters pass???

Seriously? Sweet, I just thought it looked a little dangerous. Oh wait, I will need atleast the front fairing as my indicators are sellotaped the the frame.

my son got a wof for his bike without it's fairings on we were fixing them at the time, it passed no problems, so long as all the lights etc work there should be no issues in that regard

So long as there are no loose dangly bits that can fall off or catch someone you should be ok...

According to the regs you can have no sharp protusions that could hurt pedestrians - so you will have to remove both brake and clutch levers, the handle bars are very dangerous too, toss them as well.Footpegs are very nasty and need to go,followed by gearlever and brake pedals, these could really gouge someone up,oh,pillion pegs too. That exhaust is very exposed too, imagine if a kid burnt theirselves on that! OK,she's all sorted now - be off and get that WoF!

Too late -"Object Likely to Hook Pedestrian" (or something similar - Spud?) on a vehicle is an offence.
Also "Unsafe Fitting"
