Don't know if it's possible, but would those good people who load tests give a rough idea of their height, and weight.

This would help to give an idea of how I would likely get on with a machine.

I have often thought the same thing. But then Big Dave makes anything look like a mini bike. Even the big victory :)

Don't buy anything too small. One doesn't want to look like an Alsatian humping a Spaniel.

I still don't care though.

The other suggestion I'd make is for people to give a description of the type of road. If you're not from the area that the tester rode, saying that "It really performed well when I took it on the BlahBlah road, but when I got it on the Wibble Streets, it wasn't up to the job" means nothing.

If I referred to local roads in the UK, most of you guys would have no idea about them

But say "On the twisty backroads it really performed well, but on a motorway it wasn't up to the job" it conveys so much more. Of course, I'd like to know WHY it was/wasn't good there, but then I'm greedy like that...

I understand. We short legged are quite unfortunate.

Other way round as well. Don't want to look like a chihuahua humping a great dane either...(or trying to)

You have much to learn about Kiwi Biker threads. You could start by reading what's discussed in them, rather than becoming erroneously aroused by the thread's title. Oh, and check the date on the past post -- the one before yours.

Next you'll advise them to use the search function and we moderators will be out of jobs!
