Sadly due to my good old back injury I am not able to use the spada as my primary transport, I have to buy a [hit me] cage....
As stated above the bike has done 48km. All nice and happy mechanically. I'm looking to get over $3k. PM me for details and pics.:bash: I don't want to see her go.

BUMP!!
The spada now has a fresh wof. The new paint has been cut and polished, also have a new set of front pads if anybody wants me to throw them on [no need yet, still have around 4mm on the front pads]
I am doing a rebuild on the rear brake today. I can deliver in central north island, from featherston to wanganui to be precise at no charge.

What sort of back injury is that?
Most back injuries I know of are usually more comfortable on a bike (or at least, less uncomfortable) than in most cars. A phsyiotherapist friend of mine actually encouraged bike-riding patients with back problems to take their bikes rather than the car, as the recovery was faster (better posturally).

I'm currently recovering from a back/shoulder injury - I can't sit in the car for more than a few minutes without intense pain, but reasonably comfy on the bike.
Heh - yesterday I spent nearly all day working on the bike, and when I came inside, was amazed to find I was almost completely pain free. Dunno what I did - maybe it was just really relaxing and good exercise.

Just a couple of smashed bits here and there, slipped a few bits out of place, basically I have ended up with sciatica :( I have been hoping it would improve over the last three years, sadly it hasn't

That is sad - good luck with that.
My mother-in-law (68) has permanent sciatica - she's had 3 or 4 spinal operations, several vertebrae fused together, and rods and pins in her spine. She's been on painkillers for many years. I hope your prognosis is much better. :niceone:

At this rate it doesn't seem much better, but I will be buying a new bike later on even if I still have sciatica, I have to get a form of transport that doesn't aggravate it. Sadly with my budget that means selling my baby. If there was a way around it I would be going that way. Thanks :2thumbsup

Waiting un-till I get the spare engine from palmy before I buy it. I am still building the silly project. I am having trouble finding bearing kits though.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Toyota/auction-219101676.htm Good swap? I have been wanting an sw20 for quite a while, not an auto but the spada isn't worth a massive amount so I cannot be fussy. I am very familiar with the sw20s but want to know if people think it is a a fair swap
