I've been playing with the front and rear sprocket combinations over the weekend and in the process developed this spreadsheet which some of you may find helpful
Basically you enter the front and rear sprocket size and the diameter of the rear tyre, it will give you a theoretical maximum speed in each gear......
If nothing else it's fun to play with. We ended up running an 11 on the front and 56 on the rear, had to get a 136 link chain to make it work but so far so good.............
