One day I would like to do a big trip on my bike in another country. Does anyone know what the costs are to ship a bike from New Zealand to say;
London
Cape Town
Los Angeles
India

I have a KTM 990 ADV.

Get in touch with Go Logistics. They were the only company that responded with a comprehensible quote when we were planning the Oz trip, & their service has been good so far - bikes due back next week.

AFAIK Get Routed only do Oz - Christchurch.

Phone green freight in auckland, they were excellent and gave a full rundown of costs over the phone.Couldn't fault them.

In 2007 it was a bit over $1800 to fly mine AKL to London plus costs in UK of about $500. Shipped it back by sea at GBP 500.

James Cargo Services at UK end, not sure who their agent is in NZ now.

Shipping my 990 next week ChCh to Brisbane. Mainfreight $734(NZ) including the all important customs clearance in OZ.

Shipping to and from LA is around NZ$900 each way via www.Kiwishipping.co.nz. They are run by 2 Kiwi guys in LA but I am sure they do other routes too.
