Time for the obligatory upgrade so my sexy wee black zxr is up for sale.
Got knocked off a few weeks ago and she's just got back from the shop in pristine condition, no expense was spared all OEM Japanese parts, except the top fairing which isn't made anymore so they imported a fibre glass one which is lighter and stronger.
37,000kms (subject to change as I'll be riding it while I sell it)
New top fairing
Re-painted all the fairings but 1 (has 1 scratch waaay out of sight)
New headlight
New Handle bars
36,000km tune up done, balanced carbs, mixture etc
Derestricted
Tinted Godiva Windshield
Rear tire is a Dunlop GPR100 (this is a touring tire)
Front tire is a Dunlop GPR a-10 (production race tire)
Painted the headers
Shined the exhaust
New Decals
Oil change
Oil Filter
Cleaned out the front calipers and installed new pads
It's been a stunning machine for me for a year now, the perfect learners bike, it'll be a docile cow while you're learning then as your skills sharpen she keeps up, tap dancing the gears over the hill.
Asking $5,000 ono

you owe me a more than your wallet condom...
Got my eye on 600 sports bikes, R6s, cbrs, zx6rs....not gsxrs...but haven't got my butt on one yet...
I took the street triple for a spin this morning with tristan and was very very very pleased with that, however it's pretty far out of my price bracket, even my super-awesome-amazing-deal price bracket.

do the air rams do anything or just stop when they get to the tank?

they feed into the airbox via a K&N filter, I've had the intake baffles removed which increased airflow by 1600ml/c^2 upon dyno tune we found this added 20-22bhp.
you can read more about Ram-Air intakes here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_air)

more like 1200hp....it weighs like i dunno 160kg wet?
such high hp is required when racing sidewinder missiles and winning, and snorting coke off hookers titties. (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=2016758#post2016758)

Hes pulling ya 3rd leg...
the go through the tank... but only to ool the reg/rec below... (which is choice beause it doenst cook them like silly hondas)
on the 400's they go into the airbox... the ram air on the 250s comes from a duct on the left fairing
i just tell people them are ram pipes for the twin turbos. ;)
