hi my kiwi frinds..
after my honeymoon in your fabolous country i have to back to real in the italian mess...but here a good news: after my past year in italian superstock 1000 races with rsv 2007, my team i s planning to change in better for july with new beast rsv4...so yesterday a good test ride in monza:
damn how is small...it appears an rs250.. the tester with us for our 6 laps advice to setup the "s" map, that cut a bit of cv in the 1/2/3 gears and full power from the 4th...the sound , the stock sound is great, it appers to sit on a motogp!!!..1th...out of the pit lane..damn!!!!! just a touch of the front lever and the rear wheel is up!!!! the triple bridge radial monoblock are really tough!!!!! better than 1098!!! really another planet than standard rsv!
the engine appears "sweety tough!" with this "S" map..with a small gap beetween the idea to open the gas and the engine opening...good thing that could save from a real hiside!!!!
going out from lesmo it appears to stay on an rsv.. but with mooore traction and mooore power..gasss and wheel uppppppp!! uppppssssssss!..3th..4th..5th to the Ascari...the power is stunning!!!4th at 13500 to the limiter...brake and back in 3th than in 2th(error damn!) ..and the rear that goes by side thanx to the antihooping cloutch system..
yes:it appears to stay on supermuscle rsv!..but a little bit with less stability un hi speed curves..but i simple suspension set up could do everything or i remember for you: it s possible to change the fork angle (as oh ducati) and the point of anchorage of the rear "fork"( sorry, damn i do not know the name in english!), to make the bike longer and more stable!
the seat is really longer than other bikes to let the driver change position to menage the need of load..i notice at the 5th lap: this bike need to be driven with your load and weight more than an rsv..really more than a japan bike..as, to remember if you know that feeling, as a 916/996/998 ducati series!!the laps ar going to finish...the feeling is to have a greatpower in your hands and to have all the weapons to menage it!!!

by friends see you next time!

I wouldn't worry about it. You conveyed more passion in those couple of paragraphs than most New Zealanders admit to experiencing in a lifetime.

Then of course, the casual name dropping of "Lesmo" and "Ascari" made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

I want to move to Italy now.

Hi Jacopo-no worries, you've done well! You were able to make us understand the strong emotions that were really felt during those few laps.

That envy!!!

I recommend you continue to express yourself on KB every so often!
