Has anyone had any experience with pod filters? I am possibly looking at getting one to replace my worn air filter. Need a re-tune after? Cost etc?

Thanks,
Scotty

yes you will definitely need a retune after. It can be expensive to get it right, performance wont be much improved you will have a big flat spot.

Just dont bother if you are after something simple and easy - if you are into mucking around and are prepared to spend time getting it right, go for it.

Questions you need to ask yourself

Why are you doing this
How am I going to attach the pod filter to the carb
What out come do you want at the end of the mods
Do you want to spend money on it

If you can attach it to the carb pretty easily, then you'll need to tune it, best way to get optimum results is using a dyno - this will cost about $600 all up.
