Offering on behalf of a friend who's moving to Tahiti soon.
A machine of this caliber would clearly be wasted in French Polynesia so he's selling his pride and joy.
Obviously it's in fantastic condition for a thirty two year old classic and would suit anyone wanting to rack some huge milages in comfort.
Recently fitted with a new rear tyre and head gaskets.
Pretty sure he open to realistic offers so let me know if you're keen and I can put you in touch.
Cheers

'77 Wing was a GL1000, not 1200.
(Unless it's got the later (1984 onwards) engine fitted?)
I used to have a poster of one of those on my wall when I was a teenager. It may look funny now, but it was a BIG deal at the time: it was watercooled, it was shaft driven, it had triple disk brakes, it was 1000cc, it was a flat four, it was water-cooled, and the 'fuel tank' was a dummy one (real one was under the seat).

I don't know why but that bike looks fucking awesome, I'm fairly ignorant, I had no idea they used to look like that.
Good luck to your friend for the sale, I wish I had the money!

Thanks for the clarification Viffer. Pretty sure it wont have been re powered so yeah, 1000cc is more likely.

Your friend is a homo fag.
32 years of a Goldwing with only 51,000 kms on it?
I did 80,000+ kms on a Fireblade in 5 years.
