and while you're watching, remember who organised the coverage AND the funding to make it happen ....... use your vote wisely, or kiss all this goodbye

not to be ingnorant but some of us arent fully up to date and involved with every ounce of MNZ politik. so if you wanna make a sly comment and that , let us know at least names, and details are handy.

i'd like to help those who do good but cant if its all kept in the secret circle. cheers

Come on Tim, take a look around mate ! Theres postings on the subject out ya wazooo. Kevin will no doubt be able to fill in some of the missing detail soon, but the votes will be counted by then - your comment is the perfect example of what some of the "old" heads have been saying .......

My point is this - the TV coverage did not happen by accident, nor was it gifted to us from on high. The footage you'll be watching happened because a dedicated small team had a vision, and the balls and sheer bloodymindedness to drive the thing til it happened.

Suggesting that it wouldnt be the most stupid thing you've ever done to bear that in mind when looking at the political situation at the moment

what i meant is let us know who got the coverage. so that i have some knowledge to vote from, and who deserves a beer if i run into them. i realise that these things dont just happen and want to support whoever was able to make it happen. and i dont wanna support someone just on the fragments of information i have.

and yes there are alotta postings on much of this. but so much of it is twisted and personal and downright wrong its hard to base much on that.

Sorry Tim ,
i thought i had made it clear for you in my posting,
if you look at coverage ,at end of show it lists the production Company,The Road Racing was done by Telesport, i believe this is a company that Jim Tuckerman is a Partner in although it was made clear to Road Racers at least he took no part in the tendering process, Paul Stewart allocated who was to film as i understand it ,dont know how mx worked.
dont think there was any big secret about this as well known in Road race circles, another web site holeshot has a question slot for candidates if you wanted to ask JT about it or ring Paul Stewart always found him most approachable or as Ian Dawson a contributer to this thread instead of indulging in innuendo as you abhor it in others ask them
