View Full Version : What the f**** is wrong with some people?

Parked my Guzzi at a local cafe today. Shortly afterwards some stupid, haggard-looking old tart on a cycle decided to try to prop up her cycle in front it. Once she realised it wouldn't fit she leaned it into my front fender whilst chatting with a mate. The spokes were rubbing against the paint whilst she made her f'kin' mind up what to do. When I told her what she was doing she said I should get a sense of humour! Could've rammed the f'kin' bike up her f'kin' arse. You think kids have no respect for other people's property. Hate to think what kind of shite she may have spawned.
OK, rant over.
Still, not as bad as the woman who put her drink down on a mate's tank in order to answer her mobile... Think I'd have exploded.

I think under the terms of the Geneva Convention, you are legally allowed to kill and eat anyone who fucks with your bike.

I dont blame ya for being pissed off, some people just dont stop to think, Ive even cought people sitting on my bike, wringing the throttle round and yanking the levers etc to be cool with his mates when I came out of a shop. I told him to get the f$#% off my bike, and the prick said oh dont swear at me c%#$ wtf??? so I swung my helet and caught him in the face, knocking him off it backwards. little bastard.
Yeah ya shoulda bent her spokes and said oh hehe, wheres your sense of humour?

FFS!! What condition was her bike? Either people have no respect for property (full stop) or don't give a shit about others' property.
I would have grabbed her bike and moved it. She can charge you with theft as you charge her with assault when she tries to stop you.
I've used my old car as a ram in the past in situations like this. Honestly, its the only way certain people will remember, even if they'll never understand.

Damn... I've had people walk up and put their hand on my seat or something, which I don't mind if they're talking to me... But resting their coffee on it right under your nose? Is that when domestic abuse is understandable? (:{)

I would be really quite angry with this lady.
If she finds damaging your personal property funny, she would probably piss herself with laughter when you use the crack of her arse to securely park her bike.
Your suggestion was a good one and would have ended in a 'win win smiles all round' situation.

She was old and its just a bike. People dont think, what a suprise. If you dont want it scratched or worn out, leave it in your garage and stand guard over it. People are stupid, but unless they are mean or intentionally doing damage, theres little point getting so angry about it.
how would you have reacted if it was your own grandmother?

How many wing mirrors have been seen as just collateral damage during motorcycling fuckwits attempts at lane splitting?wtf? So what? The thread wasn't about cyclists to begin with, but you just thought you would throw that in there? It's kind of stupid you always seem to add negative comments on motorcyclists, pretty much the same way as you complain people always blame the accident on the car without any facts at all. Besides, you're comparison is out of context. I've never rested my bike up on someones push bike... But anyway, yea, you should have parked your bike on her pushie and told her that she needs a sense of humor when she complains:sunny:

I would have tried to be calm, and polite. Take a photo on your phone while walking up to her.
Give her your card, and ask for her number so you can send the bill for repainting your 'special' paint job that your bike has. Or for a replacement part.
The look on their face when something like that happens is priceless.
If they run, then you have a heap of options with that photo.

Most of them can't decide whether they are road users or pedestrians. Pisses me off when you see people wheel a bike across a pedestrian crossing :2guns:

Better than riding across, because then they do it at a different speed than walking people. That stuffs up the timing and you can miss an opportunity to go through an intersection.
e.g. Light goes green and you could go 'round the corner because the pedestrians will take a while to get to you (maybe there were none on your side of the road) BUT some git rides a bike across so you wait for them.
(Though since they are riding maybe you should run over them?)
If they walk, with or instead of pedestrians, then it all works out better.
[What I hate is waiting nicely at a pedestrian corssing, for the walkers to get fully across, and some wank on a bike flies past my car, millimeters away from hitting the walkers.]

People that own nothing of value or consider their possessions to have no value think everyone else is the same...
I have a car, a road bicycle, and a mountain bike. I'd like to think I'm considerate regardless of which transportation I choose to take.
Isn't it law that a cyclist must dismount to cross a pedestrian crossing?

bloody hell, in my experrience it really pisses me off when people say motorcyclists have no respect for laws or other road users
wouldn't it make sense for two road user groups who normally come out of a crash as the most injured party to have a little mutual respect
or taking on board that a high portion of motorcyclists without there heads up their arse ride push bikea as well
fyi, I have tried riding my push bike, riding the motorbike and even driving my car with my head up my arse, don't know how you guys do it, can't see anything interesting at all

Uh, when I read through this thread someone else had already commented "same thing could be said for bikers" (something like that). Plenty of people on this site crow about their "cage damaging" skills - often inflicted in the process of lane splitting - and don't express any feeling of guilt or responsibility (other than "hey I took the c*nts wing mirror off 'cos he f*cking had the nerve to get in my way while I was carving up the lanes". I don't think the comparison was out of context at all. You sound like you have a carrot shoved up your bottom.
