Hows this for a complete BMW scarver rip off?? Not very dual purpose either. Did bmw sell all their old scarver rolling frames (minus engines)to the chinese??

God, that is one odd looking bike - and I used to have a Scarver! Don't know why they are advertising it as dual purpose as this doesn't look like it is and the Scarver wasn't anyway.
I wonder if BMW will do anything about it? The name Cruiser is a bit sad for a start!

'S still cheap for a 250 twin, if it can be registered.

Perhaps take it for a test ride over to Experience BMW and see what they say!

Well, it's as ugly as your average Beemer. And a 250cc? what a piece of junk.

I am sure that it will be as well made as the other bikes out of China.
I don't think I would buy an unregistered used bike that had not yet passed compliance.

Bikes match their riders.
The pretty boys (or those that fancy the pretty boys) ride pretty Hondas, the (soi disant) beautiful people ride Harleys to go with their beautiful lattes. BMWs are for us stringy tough ugly old bastards.

Tyre sizes: 110/70-16; 140/70-16
The front tyre might be obtainable in NZ.....
But good luck finding a rear.

I'd give that chinese rip-off copy piece of crap about 6 months before it starts falling apart. The guy selling is so confident of quality his warranty doesn't even last that long.
Beemer

Is it being sold privately or through a dealer? I'd be reluctant to buy something untested for that price.
The Scarver wasn't ugly - although it did polarise people, they either loved it or hated it. The only guy who told me it was "the ugliest thing" he'd ever seen was a short, fat, bearded prick who obviously hadn't looked in the mirror that morning!

I see the price has dropped significantly. I can't recall what it was, but think it was close to $6000 but now it's $3500.

I would have said it was more like an Adventure/Tourer...without the Tourer. It will still be an adventure...you wouldn't be sure if you would make it.
In saying that, it's just a bit busy looking and I'm sure it's a perfectly capable machine...

Oi! Ya cynical old crackpot. I'm one of the soi disant beautiful people and I ride a mean old Yammy!
The Germans build and sell BMWs to the luckless and hapless as their way of getting even for losing WW11. The Japs got well past holding grudges and gave us Yammies! Damn fine blokes those Japs.
