Hi all,

Rick and Dean and i are hoping to get to Hastings for the next round of their bucket series at Roy's Hill this sunday (listed in the events list on this site). Never been there before so praying for some more good weather. Anyone else thinking about going?

This coming Sunday 3rd May. ROYS HILL, HASTINGS Round 2 of our Mini Road Race Series (RACING WILL BE ANTI-CLOCKWISE)

So far from Febs Round One….

79 B Sprozen 54

We will try to get up and running as fast as possible for those coming long distance so try to be early and get set up. Gates open at 8:30

Anyone coming distance and requiring accommodation please ask we may be able to help.

RACE NUMBERS

Must be well placed front and sides. No numbers, NO POINTS please see the existing numbers and try to bring something different if you are new to the series.

(if you change numbers mid meeting notify race control in writing OR ELSE)

NYLON PROTECTION

Make sure its all good or else

CATCH TANKS

Make sure they are all good or else

NO ENGINES UNTIL AFTER BRIEFING

ive been their for a weekend when i raced pocket bikes...

awsome track!! its got lots of straights and lots of corners......
very wealthy club so the track is in top condition

it makes mt wellington seem like a goat track

Yeah. My poor little post wasn't getting much love at all. Unless you mean "love" as in zero score (like in tennis). I'd love to see a few more people going along, but i can't talk ... I've been promising to head down there for at least a year. Steve was probably getting ready to scrub me off his mailing list. I'm just looking forward to trying out a new track and having a blast!!! There's another meeting at the same track in a month, going the other way round the same track, so we might have to make another trip soon!

I'm sure that most of the bucket racers among us would like to head for Hastings (or some other bucket meeting) this weekend given enough time and money, arms and legs, and any old bucket of sh*t to race. :yes: Have a great weekend all.
