OK- I dont know whether this will get me ticked off by the mods.
But I have to earn a living somehow- the 'global economic downturn '
seems to have reached Waihi!

Im advertising the most common job I do on Trade Me.

In the real world- I have another business- I am The Canvas Doctor.
since last centuary I have been sewing outdoor fabrics. awnings -boat covers-bike covers- shade sails- bike seats- spray dodgers- tents- you name it, ive done it. When the lions came in 2005 I had to shield them from the prying eyes of the press with a 1.5km red curtain around their training ground!

If anyone here needs any jobs done - just ask!- even south islanders, If you want to know what a job is worth, just post up and Ill give you a fair price. just so you know if you are getting ripped!

If I knew you did that stuff I'd have got you to do the XT seat,I hated that turquoise seat - but you did it anyway!

A cousin of mine is doing the same for the last few years in OZ....I was talking to him last week at his mothers birthday.Everyone goes to the mining towns to earn big bucks in the mines....so there is no one in town doing the real work.He is in Nth Western Aust at the moment, doing shade cloth and boat covers - shade cloth is practically compulsory, and in some cases such as childrens play grounds,it's law....they have to be covered. He is the only one doing it in his town....next door to his shop is the local knock shop, could life get any better? It's freaking hot though.....

ha ha! - I'll have my big shed up soon- same size as yours. It will be be full of big shiny tables and sewing machines asap! then I can crank up the business.
at the moment Im ' undercover canvas' I hate workung in my little sweatshop so I try to discourage customers! I get too much work so I dont advertise
but next month when it gets wet and rainy and people dont want bike tours I will be tucked up in there with a heater sewing weather screens and boat covers till spring time!
